1.Drink Plenty Of Water
Make sure that you are always drinking plenty of water. I know this sounds very easy and should be easy knowledge. You would actually be very surprised at the amount of cases of chronic constipation where the patient was in there because of dehydration. So make sure that you are getting the recommended 7-8 glasses of that sweet sweet water daily. Otherwise you could end up in that hospital room again.
Movement of you body play's a large role when learning how to treat chronic constipation. When your body moves, so do your bowels. So when you get the chance I suggest you write out a work out schedule. Even if you are only going to a long walk or a light jog. 30 minutes a day of any type of exercise is absolutely perfect. Keep in mind you can go for more than 30 minutes if you please but this is just the minimum.
This seems simple but its really not, do you eat a lot of cheese? Do you eat a lot of fatty foods or greasy foods? Well this might be why you are blocked up. When I first taught myself how to treat chronic constipation I had this problem. I was eating way too much dairy products and not enough fiber. So make sure that you are eating a very low fat and high in fiber diet. You will see a massive difference within a week I promise.
